Battle Beast was a test subject for Omni Man’s invasion force. His two main goals were to learn what earth was like when it was peaceful and to learn about its inhabitants before being used as an ‘invader’. Here, he meets a young Mark Grayson (Invincible), who becomes one of his closest friends after taking him in for the night. Invincible tells him stories about the world of earth, giving Battle Beast a different view of the planet from what his superiors had told him.
