SQUAREPANTS, SPONGEBOB

His shorts are square, and he always wears a white button-down shirt and a red tie with khaki shorts, a black belt, high-top socks, and shining black shoes. STAR, PATRICK
SpongeBob’s best pal is Patrick Star. But, true to Starfish form, he is a total moron. Since starfish don’t have brains, Patrick, the plump pink neighbour of SpongeBob’s, lives beneath a rock. Patrick’s go-to pair of shorts are green and feature purple flowers. On his days off, he likes going jelly-fishing with SpongeBob and doing everything SpongeBob suggests.
SQUIDWARD TENTACLES
Squidward Tentacles is the fortunate (or unfortunate, depending on your perspective) marine creature to have SpongeBob and Patrick as neighbours. The shape of Squidward’s home reminds me of the heads on Easter Island. It shares his stoicism and icy demeanour.
Squidward is an irritable loner of an octopus who would instead be left alone. He enjoys (but is rather horrible at) playing the clarinet and does interpretive dance, sculpture, and painting, all of which he does horribly. Unlike other spongebob squarepants characters, he is always glum and wears a dark brown collared shirt with no trousers. Squidward, like SpongeBob, handles consumer inquiries at the Krusty Krab. He manages the cash register, directs customer orders, and sometimes oversees the cooking.
Unlike SpongeBob, Squidward is simply interested in getting a salary from his job. He needs to appreciate a job well done and can’t wait to go home to play the clarinet and do terrible art. Either SpongeBob manages to warm Squidward’s heart and inspire him to commit acts of kindness, or Squidward suffers the consequences of his saltiness in the form of damage or loss.

SANDY CHEEKS
Since she is a squirrel, Sandy Cheeks is a highly unusual resident of Bikini Bottom. However, scientist and inventor Sandy is very bright. Her ‘tree-dome’ is located just outside Bikini Bottom, providing her with an oxygen-free environment in which to reside. She wears a purple bikini top and a purple skirt in the tree dome.
Sandy wears a spacesuit-like outfit outside the tree dome, complete with a pink flower on the helmet, so that she may get some fresh air. There’s a cutout for her tail at the back, too.
Sandy is also a karate expert, and she and SpongeBob often engage in mock duels. However, sandy has more skills in karate. She is the brightest and best athlete in all of Bikini Bottom.
Krabs!
The Krusty Krab is run by Mr. Krabs, aka Eugene Krabs. To top it all off, of spongebob squarepants characters, he is the most penny-pinching creature in all of Bikini Bottom. Adventures for SpongeBob and Squidward often arise due to Mr Krabs’ insistence that the Krusty Krab remain open twenty-four hours a day without adding any employees.

Plankton
Sheldon J. Plankton, also known as Plankton, is the villain of Bikini Bottom. The Chum Bucket, just opposite the Krusty Krab, is owned by Plankton. The Chum Bucket is a competitor to the Krusty Krab, except it sells chum (yuck) and is always empty. Plankton wants to destroy Mr Krabs and replicate Krusty Krab’s commercial and financial success. Therefore he is always attempting to steal the secret recipe for the Krabby Patty.
GARY
SpongeBob’s pet snail’s name is Gary. His appearance and peculiar meow are the closest analogues to a cat’s. However, Gary is more intelligent and observant than SpongeBob. Therefore he frequently does a lot without being noticed by his flatmate. He is one of my favourite characters since he gets to go on his adventures.

KEY PLAYERS AND SUPPORTING ROLES
Pirate named PATCHY
Commonplace traits define Patchy, the Pirate. He often announces special episodes and serves as president of the SpongeBob fan club. The fact that a real actor plays him sets him apart. Putty is his pet parrot. Putty is a sarcastic parrot, and he and Gary are like SpongeBob and Patrick.
The Barnacle Boy and the Merman
Barnacle Boy and Mermaid Man are frequent visitors. They are the elderly former action heroes of Bikini Bottom, now retired. Daddy Krabs’ little girl’s name is Pearl. She is an adolescent humpback whale, and her signature outfit is a dress with a pink bow. Pearl is superficial and obsessed with seeming hip and trendy.
Because of this, she often fights with her father, who is opposed to spending money on anything, many alone adolescent fads. In addition to having a solid moral character, Pearl is naturally innocent and childlike.
M.R.S. PUFF
In this case, SpongeBob is Mrs Puff’s archenemy, not the other way around. When Mrs Poppy Puff becomes anxious, angry, or terrified, she blows up like a balloon. Unfortunately, SpongeBob isn’t very skilled at boating, and she is the Bikini Bottom boating teacher. As a result, SpongeBob is perpetually enrolled in Mrs Puff’s lessons, putting her in danger every time she boards a boat with the ever-optimistic SpongeBob at the helm.
Mrs Puff pairs her red skirt with a blue shirt. She also wears a little blue cap at all times. She’s kind and kind, and she only wants SpongeBob to learn to drive safely so she can let him go.
LARRY

PERCH PERKINS
Although Bikini Bottom’s news reporter Perch Perkins is never the focus of a single episode, he makes a notable enough cameo appearance rate to merit inclusion in my “major-minor character” category. He’s merely a silly newsreader with no history to speak of. In the show, Bikini Bottom’s on-the-ground news reporter, Perch, is sometimes introduced by a real fish (who remains nameless).
SQUILLIUM FANCYPANTS
Squidward’s enemy is a squid named Squillium Fancypants. He’s an artist and an octopus too. He’s very wealthy, unlike Squidward. Squillium has overcome all of Squidward’s failures. His unibrow is jet black, and he favours a scarlet smoking jacket that recalls Hugh Heffner’s iconic robe.
This squillion is not a kind person. He is always trying to show off and provoke Squidward. His so-called “friends” are fake and use him for wealth and status.
The fight between Squillium and Squidward is ironic since Squidward has more money and better friends (like SpongeBob) than Squillium.
KAREN
Karen the computer is a super-advanced artificial intelligence with her conscience but a rather primitive appearance (she appears like a pre-flatscreen T.V. on a stand with wheels). Even yet, she can independently move, and sometimes she even has hands.
She is capable of devising her strategies and experiencing a wide range of feelings. Plankton not only invented Karen but also married his own invention. While she does everything she can to aid Plankton, she also thinks he’s a complete idiot, making her a hilarious addition to each episode in which he appears.
THE SUPPORTING ROLES
MARGARET AND HAROLD SQUAREPANTS
The names of SpongeBob’s parents are Margaret and Harold Squarepants. Margaret, unlike her son, does not wear square trousers, although Harold does. Margaret’s large, round head contrasts with Harold’s more oval one. They are the sweetest parents, and they love and are very proud of their son, SpongeBob.
GRANDMA SPONGEBOB
SpongeBob’s paternal Grandma is just as dear to him as his mother and father. She has been widowed and manages to be both stern and kind. But, of course, SpongeBob can’t resist her cookies, so she makes a few cameo cameos during Season 8.
Uncle Blue Captain
Naturally, Uncle Captain Blue is SpongeBob’s uncle and SpongeBob’s paternal Grandma’s son and Harold’s brother. He’s a former police captain and a bit of a hillbilly. He just moved in with BlackJack.
BLACKJACK
SpongeBob’s cousin Blackjack makes his debut in Season 5. He’s rough around the edges, but he and SpongeBob get back together once he gets out of jail.
Even if he wanted to continue bullying SpongeBob now, he wouldn’t be able to since he never developed physically and abandoned his criminal habits after being freed for his crime of littering.
Stanley
When SpongeBob’s cousin Stanley struggles to figure out what he wants to do with his life, SpongeBob is there to assist. His thick black hair and overall appearance make him resemble a taller version of SpongeBob.
BUBBLE BASS
It’s safe to say that Bubble Bass is one of the most disliked people in Bikini Bottom. SpongeBob doubted his talents as a fry chef and fell into deep despair when he discovered that he had hidden pickles from a Crabby Patty beneath his tongue.
THE UNIDENTIFIED SCIENTIFIC REPORTER ON FISH
This fish is unique in that he is not a cartoon but rather an image with a moving mouth used to introduce television news stories. He is the only nonmoving character of all spongebob squarepants characters. The whole story will be given by Perch Perkins, who is really on the ground and has a deep, dramatic voice.
ROYAL NEPTUNE
King Neptune initially appears in the first season of SpongeBob SquarePants, although he makes cameo appearances in all 13 seasons. He transforms into a more fit and formidable monarch from a king who seemed very portly and goofy before. He is a merman, not a genuine marine monster.
