In 1983, he wed Christabel Mary McEwen, the heiress and daughter of Rory McEwen, the younger son of  1st Baronet, Sir John McEwen, and Romana von Hofmannsthal, the heiress and daughter of Ava Alice Muriel Astor and Raimund von Hofmannsthal. On February 23, 1985, their son Viscount Lambton,  Frederick Lambton, was born.

Edward Lambton and Christabel McEwen filed for divorce in 1995. Jools Holland, a musician, became her husband after that. Lambton, who Marina Hanbury owned, wed Catherine FitzGerald on October 19, 1995. Catherine is an Anglo-Irish aristocracy and the daughter of Desmond FitzGerald, Olda Ann Willes and the 29th Knight of Glin. Since they were childless, they decided to end their marriage in 2002. In subsequent years, she wed actor Dominic West. Edward Lambton’s daughter Molly (born in 2000) is from a prior relationship.

Marina and her husband, Edward, are the proud parents of four children. On October 25, 2011, they had their first child, a daughter named Lady Rose Lambton. Claud Timothy Lambton was born on September 1, 2015, after her.

Estate Cetinale, a Tuscan estate from the 17th century that appears in Alex Eagle’s book and the TV programme Succession, is now maintained by Marina Hanbury.

On the hillside above the mansion, accessible by a winding avenue of cypress trees, is a monastery—a popular destination for vacationers. 

Antony Lambton, 6th Earl of Durham, purchased the home in 1977 and had it repaired until he died in 2006. His son Edward Lambton, the current 7th Earl of Durham, and his wife, marina hanbury, currently hold the estate. The home and its grounds may be rented for special occasions.
