Famous Pop Star Lady Gaga has teamed up with Ridley Scott for her another feature movie. The movie is based on the story of the Gucci family fashion dynasty and will narrate the murder story of the grandson of Guccio Gucci. Lady Gaga in Gucci movie will play the role of Ptricia Reggiani.
The movie will chronicle the case of the murder of Maurizio Gucci, who was murdered by his ex-wife Patricia Reggiani. She was abandoned by Maurizio in 1985 after 12 years of marriage for a younger woman. She was tried and found guilty in the murder of Maurizio on the steps of his office in 1995 in Italy. During the trial, she was named “black widow” by the Italian press. So Lady Gaga in Gucci movie will portray the character of black widow.
The death of Maurizio Gucci was a high profile case as he was a fashion label in Italy. For hiring a human killer for the murder, Reggiani spent 18 years in prison and was released in 2016. The Joanne singer, Lady Gaga, whose actual name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta was last seen in A Star is Born, which was nominated in Oscar. The movie also received eight nominations in 91st Academy Awards and five nominations in 76th Golden Globes awards. The movie earned Gaga the image of the best actress, and she also won Oscar for the hit song of the movie “Shallow.”
Ridley Scotty, whose last directed film was All The Money in The World, will produce the movie with Scott Free Productions. The film will be based on the famous book “The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed.”
